Importing Templates into Checklist Inspector Pro
Templates contain Categories and Items (Tests and Questions) and can be used to quickly populate an Inspection.
You can import Templates that other Checklist Inspector Pro users send you, ones that you have created and saved, or import ones you have exported from the previous version of the app, Checklist Inspector:
Template files in both Checklist Inspector and Checklist Inspector Pro use an .itmp file format. No other file formats are supported by the app.
How to Import a Template to Checklist Inspector Pro
iOS
- Press the “Workspace” tab.
- In the ”Inspection Data” section, press “Templates”.
- Press the “Import” in the top right of the screen.
- Press the “Select File” button and select the .itmp Template file you wish to import.
- The “Title” and “Reference” details will be automatically taken from the file and added, but you can edit these if you wish.
- Press the “Import Template” button
- The Template will appear in the Template List and is now ready to use.
Web
- Press the “Manage Workspace” tab.
- In the “Inspection Data” section, press “Templates”.
- Press the “Import Template” in the top right of the screen.
- Press the “Upload File” button and select the .itmp Template file you wish to import.
- The “Title” and “Reference” details will be automatically taken from the file and added, but you can edit these if you wish.
- Press the “Import Template” button
- The Template will appear in the Template List and is now ready to use.
