Annotation Tools

Both Web and iOS share the same annotation tools, it is just the layout and labeling that differs between platforms.

 

iOS Annotator:

  1. Editing tools -
    1. Select - Press on any available element added to the photo, the desired annotation will be highlighted.
    2. Eraser - Erase parts of the photo by drawing freely. Once drawn it is the top layer and removes other elements on the photo.
    3. Trash - Delete the selected annotation. If you delete something by mistake you can press the Undo button to recover it. Pressing this when an individual annotation is not selected will delete all annotations, this cannot be undone.
  1. Drawing Tools -
    1. Shape (Square, Circle and Triangle)
    2. Line
    3. Pencil
    4. Bezier Curve
    5. Arrow
    6. Double Arrow
    7. Ruler - allows custom input.
    8. Angle - requires two lines.
    9. Pixelate - Censor any part of the photo.
    10. Text - Input text anywhere on the photo. Based on font size and colour section. Can be edited after.
  1. Customisation Tools -
    1. Line thickness - applies to respective tools.
    2. Colour - applies to respective tools.
  1. Undo Button - Revert back to previous annotation edits.

    1. Rotate Shape - rotates the selected annotation by 90 degrees.
    2. Rotate Image - rotates the entire image (including annotations) by 90 degrees.

  1. Formatting tools -
